Hybrid tea roses typically produce one bloom per stem, making them ideal for floral arrangements. The blooms come in a wide variety of colors including red, pink, white, yellow, peach, lavender, and even multi-colored varieties. Many have a strong, pleasing fragrance, though some modern varieties are bred more for appearance than scent.

These roses are repeat bloomers, flowering from late spring through the first frost with proper care. Most hybrid tea rose bushes grow between 2.5 and 6 feet tall and have an upright, bushy form.

To thrive, hybrid tea roses require at least six hours of direct sunlight each day and prefer well-draining, fertile soil with a slightly acidic pH around 6.0 to 6.5. They benefit from deep watering once or twice a week and should be fertilized every four to six weeks during the growing season using a fertilizer formulated for roses.

Pruning should be done in early spring as the buds begin to swell. Remove any dead or damaged wood and shape the bush to encourage good airflow and balanced growth. Always prune above outward-facing buds at a 45-degree angle.
